Pilsner Tchèque Světlý Ležák

Description

Pils lovers, here is the Shelton version of the famous Czech Pilsner Světlý Ležák!
This blond beer is malty and has fresh herbaceous notes that comes from Saaz hops, as well as a certain bitterness that characterize the style. Our Světlý Ležák is brewed with a typical yeast from the Czechia. Naturally carbonated, the beer has a beautiful dense foam and delicate bubbles. For a total experience, taste it in our tasting room served with a Czech tap (lukr), which gives it a foam as sublime as spectacular!

NEIPA

Description

The Shelton NEIPA is an India Pale Ale brewed in the New England style. Its orangey appearance is hazy. It is velvety and juicy, and has powerful aromas of tropical and citrus fruits that come from American hops. A slight bitterness lingers to the end.

Blonde Espresso

Description

For this project, Bièrerie Shelton teamed up with the Montreal micro-roaster Saint-Henri. We carefully selected the ideal coffee for this beer: Godshot. This slightly roasted coffee offers notes of orange zest and brown sugar. Following the fermentation, we cold-brewed the coffee beans, adding a touch of vanilla and lactose. The result is an invigorating and exotic blonde beer with intoxicating aromas.

Blonde allemande Kölsch

Description

Kölsch is a German beer from the city of Cologne. Like lagers, it is cold-conditioned. The result is a subtle blonde beer. It has slightly malty, herbaceous and fruity flavors. A slight bitterness lingers to the end.

Sure aux framboises

Description

Sour beer to which we added a large amount of raspberries. It distinguish itself by a pronounced acidity and a very pleasant fruity side. With its red color and its extra-raspberry aromas, it will certainly turn heads this summer!

Milkshake IPA sure aux abricots

Description

This beer is part of the Milkshake IPA trend. To add to the pleasure, we opted for a sour version. Our "Milkshake IPA sure aux abricots" (Apricots sour milkshake IPA) was dry hopped with the very fruity Citra hops. It also contains a large amount of apricots, lactose and a little vanilla. On the nose, it is fruity with a hint of vanilla. The taste as the tang of a sour beer which then gives way to the sweetness of apricots and vanilla. The balance is preserved between the sour and sweet aspects, in order to offer a beer full of contrasts and flavors!

Our Sure aux mandarines is basically a light wheat beer. The addition of tangerine juice gives it a strong fragrance, an orange hue and a refreshing acidity typical of citrus fruits. Its tangy side, its low alcohol content and its fruity flavors make it a refreshing summer beer, perfect for an afternoon cocktail!

Gose à l'orange sanguine et citron Meyer

Description

Originally from Germany, the Gose is a beer characterized by its lactic fermentation and the addition of sea salt. The latter gives the beer roundness, like a pinch of salt enhances a good dish. Instead of brewing our Gose with coriander, as in the classic version, we chose to add blood oranges and Meyer lemons to it. These citrus fruits give it a taste that is both tangy and fruity, in addition to a nice orange-red color. The cereal notes that linger remind us that this is a wheat beer. Dare the Gose!

Stout Impérial

Description

This 10.5% alc./vol. imperial stout is heady, smooth and complex. It is deep black, with a low carbonation typical of the style and a dense mocha-colored head. There are notes of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, crème brûlée and dried fruits. On the palate, the texture is velvety and rich. The flavors are intense, with a slight smoky touch. The whole experience lingers on a sustained bitterness.

Our Stout imperial Choco-café was brewed with the excellent Holycow coffee roasted specially for us by Saint-Henri micro-torréfacteur. We added a large amount of cocoa nibs and a touch of lactose for a smooth mouthfeel. This dessert imperial stout with rich and enveloping flavours gives off intense aromas of chocolate and coffee. The result is simply decadent.

Double IPA Du Jour

Description

In memory of our famous “IPA of the day” series which was born in May 2018, this DIPA was designed in the spirit of the series. Brewed with a generous amount of hops (DDH Cryo Ekuanot, Cryo Citra, Citra and Galaxy), it release a pineapple aroma. With a generous but light body, it has the taste of the delicious California white peaches. Our Double IPA of the day will perfectly accompany your summer getaways!

Saison Brett et Limette

Description

This saison is the result of a blend of Saison houblonnée aged in white wine barrels and Saison sure houblonnée aged in American red wine barrels with the addition of brettanomyces claussenii yeast. We also added lime juice. The beer has fruity and funky aromas, supported by lime flavors, but also wild and woody flavors. It is a tart summer beer with a strong personality.
